Annual Meeting - Jan 19, 2009
The Nine Mile annual Meeting will be held at 7:30 pm on Monday, January 19th in the Founder’s Cabin at camp.
On the agenda will be the annual election of officers, Directors and Members at Large. Please forward any suggestions for additions or changes to me or to our Secretary, Paul Glassman.
We will have a replacement trailer update, quickly review site holder renewals not yet received and our 2009 fee schedule.
We will proceed with our Invitational planning. We are planning on a Show and Do format where each unit selects and runs a station where they show and then let those in camp do what they have been shown. Please bring you unit plans if you can. The camp is planning to show the method of tree planting for young trees and will then let each camper plant one. We have several spots in camp where we want to establish privacy barriers so we plan to be planting evergreens in these areas. I look forward to seeing many of you on the 19th.

2008 Fees
Posted the 2008 Fees in the Forms page. The fees have been in place since January 14. They were not posted on the web site until 6/16 due to an oversight by the webmaster.

15th Annual Invitational Info Packet and Patch
The 15th Annual 9 Mile Island Invitational Weekend information packet has been published in the navigation bar and the events page. Both highlight this years patch and the Olympic theme.

Updated background & font colors
Updated the background of the main display frame to a pale wood pattern, and updated the fonts to work better with the lighter color background using camping colors.

Updated the forms page to remove the images of the forms, because you could not read them anyway.

Changed Map to Google Maps
Updated the map page to use Google maps. You can now link right to Google maps and enter your address for directions, zoom in and out, use the terrain setting or satellite setting.

Service Outage Report
Dear Customer,
We experienced a service interruption affecting the Netfirms corporate websites and some of our customer hosted websites and e-mail services.
During scheduled power maintenance at our Data Centre on Saturday Feb. 23 at approximately 10:30 AM ET, the building’s backup generator system unexpectedly failed, impacting network connectivity. This affected several Internet and Hosting Providers, including Netfirms.
We would like to inform you that your web data is intact and that your e-mail messages are currently queued for delivery over the next several hours.
At this time, our Technology Team is also investigating the cause of the unusual failure with the Data Centre facility in order to prevent further incidences of this nature.
We sincerely apologize for this service interruption and appreciate your patience while our engineers work diligently to restore services.

Updated Navigation
Updated the navigation page to match colors of title and main page. Changed the hover and focus colors to gold. Link will stay gold until focus is changed to another page or another item.
